Take your 4-H experience to another level through Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF). An eight-day intensive summer citizenship program for youth aged 14-18. Through Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF), teens experience Washington D.C. like never before. Using the nation’s capital as their classroom, CWF connects young leaders from across the country to gain the skills and experiences to become effective change agents. The Douglas County Citizenship Washington Focus program will be an 18-month long program. The next trip will be taken June of 2026. The tentative dates are June 20 - June 27, 2026. The application process includes an interview and a submitted application. Applications will be accepted for the 2026 trip, now through October 15, 2024. Interviews will be scheduled once all applications are received. Program participants will be announced by December 1, 2024.
