 ashington Focus (CWF). An eight-day intensive summer citizenship program f
 or youth aged 14-18. Through Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF)\, teens ex
 perience Washington D.C. like never before. Using the nation’s capital a
 s their classroom\, CWF connects young leaders from across the country to 
 gain the skills and experiences to become effective change agents. The Dou
 glas County Citizenship Washington Focus program will be an 18-month long 
 program. The next trip will be taken June of 2026. The tentative dates are
  June 20 - June 27\, 2026. The application process includes an interview a
 nd a submitted application. Applications will be accepted for the 2026 tri
 p\, now through October 15\, 2024. Interviews will be scheduled once all a
 pplications are received. Program participants will be announced by Decemb
 er 1\, 2024.
