This trip will focus on the Tri State Mining District, the Southeast Kansas Coal Mining Area, and the Silver City Dome Mining Area.  We will be collecting specimens from the Pennsylvanian and Mississippian age rocks of the Cherokee Lowlands and Osage Cuestas.

Registration is $10 per person.  Every family member who attends the trip must register including ages 0-150.  This field trip is scheduled for June 12 - 15, 2026.  Registration deadline May 15, 2026 - No late registrations.
