It’s time to get registered for the 31st Kansas 4-H Insect Spectacular, which will be held Friday and Saturday, June 16-17. The event will be held in and around Manhattan & Wamego, KS.  This event is open to all youth and adult volunteers interested in 4-H entomology! One parent/guardian from each family must register and attend with children.

Learn about collecting, storing, identifying, and pinning your insects for exhibit. This year’s event features a guided tour of the K-State Insect Zoo, collecting in the K-State Gardens, and a night hunt at Tuttle Creek! All levels of experience are encouraged to attend, from beginning to advanced. This is a fun event, designed to encourage curiosity and the sharing of knowledge.
