Last month we talked about fundraisers.  Here are the two discussed:

 

*Chocolate Rabbits - Kids sell chocolate rabbits and turn in money.  We can pick a day before Easter and sell at one of the farm stores as a group.  Rabbits are $8 for solid chocolate rabbits.  

 

*T-shirts - I have a mock up of a Rabbit Project t-shirt.  I will have information at the meeting on cost.  These can be sold to anyone who would like to support the Rabbit Project.  Another club does this and they sell all over the country.  It is a great way to advertise our project at fair or whenever they are out and about.  The whole family can wear the shirts:)

 

I am starting to order awards and have new information on fair entry.  It is important to attend the upcoming meetings to learn how to put your entries in correctly.  There are some new changes that we are hoping will make it easier to correctly input your information.

 

Bring your rabbits and we will work on trimming nails, weighing them and learning how much they should weigh.  In the next few months we will have some guests to teach the kids more specific information about rabbits.  We are working on a quiz bowl for May or Junes so kids need to polish up their skills.  I hope to see everyone there.!
