As part of the Teaching and Learning Center's Professional Development Series, Raelynne Hale will lead an event titled, "Increase Engagement with VoiceThread!" from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, via Zoom.

Reimagine your instructor presence while elevating student success and engagement. See how VoiceThread transforms slides, videos, images, voice, text and drawings into interactive collaborations and discussions. Dr. Raelynne M. Hale will demonstrate VoiceThread, how you can incorporate it into your courses, and how the Department of Modern Languages have had great success using VoiceThread to create innovative and engaging online courses and to enhance in-person courses. The department invites other faculty members across campus to incorporate VoiceThread into their courses. The current agreement with VoiceThread includes full Canvas integration for an unlimited number of accounts as well as unlimited auto-captioning and Zoom integration for an accessible, multimodal option.
