Accessibility Allies: Automated Checks vs. Human Expertise - Kansas State University Events

Think you can automate accessibility away? Think again! Discover the strengths and limitations of automated accessibility checkers and learn how to combine them with essential manual checks. We’ll equip you with a holistic understanding of how to ensure genuine accessibility. Building accessible experiences is a human-powered process. Topics we'll cover include the automated checkers in Microsoft, Adobe and Canvas, as well as what autocheckers might miss.

This session is synchronous and will be offered on both Monday, April 28 and Tuesday, April 29. Join us on Zoom at ksu.zoom.us/my/idteam.
