ADVANCE Distinguished Lecture Series: Jill McGaughy

The ADVANCE Distinguished Lecture Series (ADLS) and ADLS Awardee Dr. Bethany Plakke, K-State Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, will host Jill McGaughy, Professor, Department of Psychology at the University of New Hampshire, on Monday, April 5th, 3:30 p.m. CT via Zoom. 

Dr. McGaughy will present "Cingulate Cortex in the Rat: Foraging for function among difficult, conflicting choices. 

Dr. McGaughy is a professor at the University of New Hampshire that studies cognitive control, prefrontal circuits and the impact of prenatal insults. She has numerous publications and NIH funded projects. Dr. McGaughy is the president of the International Behavioral Neuroscience Society.
