Whether you are new to Ally or already a pro at digital accessibility, this session is for you! Come join us in-person for an in-depth review of Blackboard Ally. Ally is a tool available within Canvas which assists in building a more inclusive learning environment by making digital course content more accessible to students.

Ally works seamlessly in Canvas to gauge the accessibility of your content. It provides guidance and tips for lasting improvements to your content and automatically checks for accessibility issues and generates alternative formats. In this session, instructors will learn:

  • The benefits of Ally
  • How to see accessibility scores for your course content
  • How to prioritize accessibility fixes
  • Where students find the alternative formats

We'll also cover brand new updates in Ally that allow for tagging PDFs directly within the platform! No need to download and fix your PDFs in Adobe.

We sugest bringing a laptop to follow along and start making improvements right away.

No need to RSVP. Come and go as you please. Drop-ins are welcome!
