About this Event
Michael Yampolsky, University of Toronto, will present a colloquium titled "Renormalization of Rotation Domains" as part of the Mathematics Department Colloquium Lecture series.
The abstract for this lecture is: Renormalization has become a central theme in low-dimensional dynamics. In my talk I will give an overview of renormalization approach to dynamics in one and two complex dimensions, and some applications to the geometry of higher-dimensional rotation domains.
This lecture is supported by the Advanced Distinguished Lecture Series.
