About this Event
The Graph Associahedron
Abstract: In this talk, I will introduce the construction of the graph associahedron for a given graph. The construction will follow graph tubings which are related to the faces of the graph associahedron. Some examples of graph associaheron include the associahedron (from the path graph), the cyclohedron (from the cycle graph), and the permutohedron (from the complete graph).
This talk is motivated by seeing a talk at JMM on the subject from Katie Waddle about work answering open question 6.3 from https://arxiv.org/pdf/1808.05670 by Emily Barnard and Thomas McConville. I will follow Section 2 of the same paper for the construction of the graph associahedron.
