About this Event
Let's face it: given the current political climate and the world we are living in, if you interact with others, you are no stranger to tough conversations. Tough conversations can happen when we least expect it and we rarely feel ready to deal with them even though they are naturally a part of our everyday life. This workshop provides you with immediately applicable research-based hands-on learning tools to navigate the art of empathy. Curricular options will be explored for both Conversation Bootcamp and 4-H Community Conversations. Time will be allotted to trouble shoot and discuss participant and local unit needs.
The objective is for KSRE staff to build a professional toolkit for culture and communication skills development, which can impact the scope of local programming and development of healthy interpersonal relationships. Please contact Aliah Mestrovich Seay for more information at aliah@ksu.edu.
