 on about how to join the program. \n\nJim Richardson is a photographer for
  National Geographic Magazine. Richardson has photographed more than 30 st
 ories for National Geographic. Richardson's work has taken him around the 
 world covering the environment\, cultures\, travel\, landscapes and perils
  to the night sky. His coverage of food and agriculture has been a centerp
 iece of National Geographic’s focus on world food. \nKnown for his docum
 entary photography of small towns and rural issues. CBS News Sunday Mornin
 g twice profiled his 35 year-long journal of Cuba\, Kansas. ABC News Night
 line chronicled Richardson’s coverage of the Columbia river.  His 1979 s
 tudy of adolescence\, “High School USA\,” is now considered a photo es
 say classic. In 2015 his fellow National Geographic photographers honored 
 him as their “Photographer’s Photographer.” In 2017 Kansas State Uni
 versity bestowed an honorary doctorate for his contributions to cultural a
 nd environmental photography. \n\nThis event is part of the Beach Museum o
 f Art's annual program series\, Art in Motion: a tribute to Marianna’s l
 ove for lifelong learning! Marianna Kistler Beach believed in the value of
  art and the importance of cross-cultural understanding. The museum offers
  the Art in Motion programs in celebration of her work and leadership.\n\n
