Dr. Chad Fiechter, Purdue University Department of Agricultural Economics, will present “Identification of Margin-Specific IV Elasticities in Unordered Outcome Models: Evidence from Farmland Conversion to Renewable Energy” during the Agricultural Economics Seminar Series.

Chad Fiechter is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Finance in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University. A native of Ossian, Indiana, Chad brings nearly a decade of farming experience to his academic work, providing a practical foundation for his research and teaching. His research focuses on the intersection of data, finance, and risk management in agricultural decision-making. In addition, at Purdue, he teaches courses in advanced farm management and data analytics.
