About this Event
8998 US Hwy 59 in Oskaloosa
Tar Spot arrived in 2022. Corn Stunt was confirmed in Kansas this fall. We know a lot more than we used to - but there’s still a lot to learn heading into the 2025 growing season.
The morning will consist of a discussion led by Meadowlark Extension District Crops & Soils Agent David Hallauer covering lessons learned by K-State Research & Extension Row Crops Pathologist Dr. Rodrigo Onofre in three seasons with Tar Spot as well as an introduction to our newest Midwest corn disease: Corn Stunt Disease. We’ll wrap up the morning with an update on soybean fungicide resistance management and Soybean Gall Midge.
