Join local extension specialists on a three-stop cover crop tour in McPherson County. This public event will take participants to sites where local farmers have implemented cover crops into their operations. Topics for discussion will include cover crop mixes, biomass and soil health improvement, grazing cover crops, alternative water systems for grazed cover crops, manure management, and NRCS programs for grazing covers.
