Data Carpentry Workshop - Kansas State University Events

Join K-State Libraries for an R for Social Scientists Data Carpentry Workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025. This free, in-person workshop will be held in the Dr. Susan K. Peterson Room in Hale Library (181 Hale).

Carpentries workshops develop fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. Its target audience is researchers with little to no prior computational experience, and its lessons are domain-specific, building on learners' existing knowledge to enable them to apply skills to their research quickly. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they learn.
