Join us for the first 2024-2025 Demystify Environmental Science of the spring semester. This month's theme is "pollution prevention and environmental justice".
Dr. Cris Brazil, Pollution Prevention Specialist at the K-State Pollution Prevention Institute will be leading a casual discussion. This conversation will explore how pollution prevention (P2) connects to sustainability and environmental justice, highlighting real-world strategies industries use to reduce waste and conserve resources. Students will also learn about K-State’s P2 internship program and how it prepares them to tackle environmental challenges in their future careers.
This event is open to all students.
