About this Event

Join us for the third of the 2024-2025 Demystify Environmental Science series. This month's theme is "climate change’s impacts on species".
Dr. Allison Louthan from the Division of Biology will be leading a casual discussion of the imacts of climate change on plant and animal species.
Her lab works at the intersection of population and community ecology, focusing on how species interactions and climate change jointly influence population dynamics and distribution patterns. They use a combination of observational fieldwork, field- and greenhouse- based experiments, and modeling to explore how species interactions might impact future biodiversity patterns in a changing climate.
This is open to all students interested in learning about the impacts of climate change.
