Digital Accessibility and the Tool Bar - Kansas State University Events

Join us for a hands-on digital accessibility presentation tailored for everyone who uses Canvas for their courses and Microsoft products to write and edit digital content.

Whether you're new to accessibility or already familiar with the basics, this 1-hour session will show you how to find and use the five most common tools in your favorite design software to create more accessible content. The main five tools we’ll be looking at are:

  • Paragraph style
  • Image alt text
  • Links
  • Lists
  • Tables

Join us on Zoom at ksu.zoom.us/my/idteam

  • See the steps needed to make content more accessible and user-friendly for ALL students and users.
  • Walk away with time-saving tips, ALL of your original content, and formatting that is more readable and usable
