Join us for a hands-on Digital Accessibility Workshop tailored just for faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences!

 

Whether you're new to accessibility or already familiar with the basics, this session will help you take real steps toward creating a more inclusive online course experience. This workshop is for the digital content used in both online and in-person classes. We suggest bringing your own laptop to work.

 

All are welcome, but this session will focus on examples from the arts and humanities:

  • Alternative text on images and instructional narratives
  • Basics of document accessibility and permalinks from the library
  • An overview of MediaSite and selecting accessible video content

*If you are interested in more STEM focused examples, join us for Tuesday’s training.

 

What to Expect:

  • Learn the why and how of digital accessibility from understanding the importance of accessibility and how to implement it effectively.
