About this Event
The Digital Accessibility Task Force invites all faculty and staff to join us for a Virtual Town Hall meeting via Zoom Webinar on Tuesday, April 22, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Benefits of attending the Webinar include the opportunity to:
- Learn more about the DOJ's final rule requiring all digital content, including digital course content, to be WCAG 2.1 AA compliant by April 24, 2026.
- Review the university's digital accessibility implementation plan and timeline.
- Learn about the types of auditing/remediation tools the task force is currently working to secure for the university community, which will be made available by fall 2025.
- Learn more about the types of training and workshops the task force will work to stand up by fall 2025 to support faculty and staff in this endeavor.
- Ask questions and make suggestions relative to the types of digital content you frequently create/utilize for which you are seeking a remediation support solution.
While this Webinar will not provide specific remediation steps and/or technical solutions, the Task Force welcomes examples of content that you are concerned about, as it will help inform the fall 2025 remediation workshops and training.
