EXCITE Shadow Day
EXCITE, or Exploring Science, Technology, and Engineering, is designed to encourage and support students of all genders in the 9th -12th grades to pursue a future in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and agriculture. The goal of the program is to foster girls' continuing interest in STEM. We offer semester events and a summer workshop on the main K-State campus in Manhattan KS for high school students. All events offer hands-on activities that focus on how scientists and engineers help make the world a better place.
High school students are invited to experience a day in the life of a K-State student! Join EXCITE as we return to in-person events designed to help you learn about STEM majors, opportunities available on campus, and life as a Wildcat. You will join your mentor as she goes about her normal day at K-State and experience "a day in the life" firsthand. Lunch, a drawstring bag, and pencil are all included in your registration fee.
