The K-State Office of Farm and Ranch Transition provides critical services for beginning farmers/ranchers in Kansas and transitioning farmers/ranchers wanting to plan for succession.

Participants at this event will hear from keynote speaker Dr. Shannon Ferrell, Associate Professor of Ag Law at Oklahoma State University, learn about utilizing lawyers in the transitioning process, and about the services of the Farm and Ranch Transition office.  Attendees will also learn about lawyers' roles in succession planning.
