Fix Your Content Day 2025 - Kansas State University Events

Kansas State University will join institutions around the world for Fix Your Content Day on Tuesday, November 18, an annual event sponsored by Anthology Ally that encourages educators to make digital course materials more accessible for all learners. Improving course accessibility takes time and effort. By participating, faculty not only make their current courses more inclusive but also “future-proof” them for upcoming semesters, reducing future workload while supporting all learners.

Instructional designers will be available throughout the day to assist both in person and online:

  • In person: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Hale Library Room 107 (bring your laptop for one-on-one support)

  • Online: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. via Zoom

Goals

  • Departments are encouraged to reach an 85% average Ally score across their fall courses.

  • Departments that achieve a 90% average Ally score in their fall courses by November 21 will earn a free lunch in celebration of their efforts.

  • The focus this year is on improving image accessibility by adding alt text, flagging decorative images, and correcting missing or unclear descriptions.
