Recent grain prices have been sliding below farmer’s breakeven profit points for the past two years. As producers have felt this pinch as production expenses have increased, and grain prices have been stagnant.

Starting with 9:30 am registration time, Dr. Daniel O’Brien from Kansas State University will be leading the Grain Marketing Workshop at 10:00 AM. This workshop will include:

  • 2026 Crop Breakeven Costs in Northeast Kansas
  • Grain Market Outlook for 2026 Corn and Soybeans
  • Examining Local Corn and Soybean Basis Trends
  • Grain Marketing Strategies for 2025 “Old Crop” in Storage vs 2026 “New Crop” Sales
