HAPp Works is a 4-week self-measurement blood pressure program led by trained coaches. Participants will be empowered to adopt sustainable changes for improved well-being. Must be 18 to participate. Hypertension self-management is important, and this class will provide: weekly sessions with a trained coach; free blood pressure monitor; strategies to make healthy eating & physical activity changes; stress management techniques; & sleep improvement tips. Dates: Feb. 3, 10, 17, (skip the 24th) & Mar. 3 from 2-3 p.m. at K-State Extension office (Meadowlark Rm.). FREE, but class size is limited.
