Cowley County is part of a pilot project that will connect community members with monthly nutrition education sessions and opportunities to meet with trained Heart Healthy Ambassador coaches at least twice a month. Participants receive a blood pressure monitor to use at home.

Eligible participants are:

• Age 18 or older
• Hypertension diagnosis or on antihypertensive prescription
• Interest in and readiness for the program
• No significant cardiac event in the last 6 months
• No atrial fibrillation or other arrhythmias
• don't have or not at risk for Lymphedema

The free program will be March - June with at least 3 opportunities monthly to connect with coaches.  Register now.
