Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) is a new national, multi-species youth livestock quality assurance program. It is open to youth 8-21 years of age and focuses on food safety, animal well-being, and character development.

YQCA Training is required for all Shawnee County Livestock Exhibitors 4-H Age 7-18(including Meat Rabbits & Broiler Meat Chickens) and State Livestock Shows; Kansas State Fair & Kansas Junior Livestock Show(KJLS)
