Join KCARE for a field event in Russell, Kansas, where participants have the opportunity to observe various livestock watering options and how they function in different situations. This includes a tire tank installation, wet well, solar panel systems with tanks, hardened crossing, portable water, and more.
This two-day event will have several field visits hosted by local producers in Russell and Ellis counties, as well as sessions in the Dole Specter Conference Center in Russell.
This is a two-day event. The program will begin at 3:30 pm on 8/22 and continue to dusk. We will resume on 8/23 at 8 am and finish up by 4 pm. Supper will be provided for participants on 8/22, and lunch will be provided on 8/23. Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the event.
