Struggling to put your course syllabi together? Feeling overwhelmed with the features in Canvas? Wanting to create course materials that meet accessibility standards? The Teaching & Learning Center and K-State instructional designers have your back!

Join us for a number of pre-semester instructional support events on Tuesday, January 14, starting with two Zoom sessions in the morning:

Feel free to attend one or both! These sessions will also be made available for asynchronous viewing on the Teaching & Learning Center’s website after the events.

Join us in the afternoon for Drop-in Instructional Support in Hale Library 181 from 2:00-4:00pm or drop in during those same hours via Zoom: https://ksu.zoom.us/s/93479613626. A team of instructional designers will be available for drop-in consultations related to the instructional design of your course (e.g., syllabus, Canvas, other pedagogical choices).

Instructional Design Services offers training in backward and accessible course design, assessments, and activities. By combining their expertise and resources, they aim to design online credit programs, microcredentials, and professional development opportunities that are tailored to your specific learners.

If you can’t join us on Tuesday afternoon, you can schedule a consultation by emailing idteam@ksu.edu.

Please direct any questions to Andie Faber, Director of the New Faculty Institute at afaber@ksu.edu.
