Come share conversation, coffee and culture at International Coffee Hour — a monthly series at the Frith Community Center hosted by the International Student and Scholar Services. Intended for the broader Manhattan and K-State community (alumni, students, faculty, staff, youth and visitors), each 60-minute session invites an international student to present on their country’s traditions, history, social life and contemporary issues, followed by open discussion and informal Q&A. Enjoy a warm cup and sample authentic snacks and beverages from the presenter’s homeland while you connect with new perspectives. Sessions run on select Fridays from 4:00–5:00 PM during the fall and spring semesters. Whether you’re seeking intercultural learning for classroom use, looking to broaden your global awareness, or simply want a cozy Friday afternoon event, Coffee Hour welcomes you.
