Introduction to Ally for Canvas - Kansas State University Events

Ready to level up the accessibility of your Canvas courses? Come hang out with your instructional designers for a lively walk-through of Ally, one of K-State's newest tools designed to help you create a more inclusive, student-friendly learning environment.

Join us on Zoom at ksu.zoom.us/my/idteam.

Ally works seamlessly in Canvas to gauge the accessibility of your content. It provides guidance and tips for lasting improvements to your content and automatically checks for accessibility issues and generates alternative formats. In this session, instructors will learn:

  • What are the benefits of Ally?

  • How to see your accessibility scores for your course content

  • Ally instructor Feedback Panel overview

  • Where students find the alternative formats

Your Host:

Christina van Ittersum, Accessibility Focused Instructional Designer, Center for Academic Innovation
