Invasive Ornamental Plants - Kansas State University Events

*NOTE-this date was originally published as February 19th. February 10th is the correct date. Ornamental plants from our yards are spreading into parks, roadsides, and vacant properties, taking a toll on our environment. While Bradford pears and Asian honeysuckle are the most well-known offenders, other common landscape plants are also escaping. Learn which plants are invading our natural areas, how they found their way into the nursery industry, and what to plant instead for similar ornamental beauty. Program presented by K-State Extension Master Naturalist.
