Jacob Morgan, senior Bachelor of Music student, was recently awarded an Undergraduate Research Opportunity Grant by the College of Arts and Sciences. The award will support Morgan's development of Dan Trueman's work, Neither Anvil nor Pulley. This quartet involves the use of traditional and found percussion instruments and extensive electronic elements. Morgan plans to perform the work with student colleagues and Kurt Gartner, professor of music at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 7 in Kirmser Hall, McCain Auditorium.
