K-State Gardens needs volunteers to be garden docent tour guides. Training consists of three 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. sessions on Wednesdays in March (3/11 - 18 - and 25) in the Gardens Visitor Center Conference Room. The only qualifications necessary are an interest in the Gardens and a willingness to help.

1) Covers garden history, layout, and south garden tour

2) Covers specialty gardens, collections, and north garden tour

3) Covers interpretation, experienced docent panel, practice tours
