48-Hour Short Film Contest Kick-Off Event - Kansas State University Events
Free Event

The 2025 K-State 48 Film Challenge is set! Create, record and edit short films within 48 hours for cash prizes.
You and a small group of friends have just 48 hours to create an original short film, 2-6 minutes in length. The film could be about anything but must include three creative elements revealed at the kick-off event: a prop, a location, and a line of dialogue.
48 hours later, your submitted film is judged and prepped for the Red Carpet event and awards ceremony. Films are judged by industry professionals, and cash prizes, including the Audience Choice Award, will be awarded.
