K-State's University Records Management Training
Have you ever wondered if you're handling university information correctly? Would you like to avoid second guessing yourself next time you shred, recycle, file or delete work-related records?
Ryan Leimkuehler, university records manager, will cover the basic information needed for university records creators and designees.
His course will walk attendees through why records management is important, how to follow the university retention schedule, and what the legal requirements are when managing both paper and electronic records. It concludes with an in-depth discussion on how to identify records and the process of updating the university retention schedule.
