K-State grasslands biologist Dr. Zak Ratajczak is working to project future grasslands landscapes using long-term fire experiments and remotely-sensed data. Beach Museum of Art designer and data visualization programmer Luke Dempsey is demonstrating the continuity between art and science in his work with K-State researchers to communicate their findings. Join Ratajczak and Dempsey for a Prairie Studies Initiative program that probes the future of the prairie ecosystem.
