M-seminar: On pseudo-Anosov autoequivalences II - Kansas State University Events
Free Event

Speaker: Yijia Liu

Abstract: In this talk, we propose a new definition of pseudo-Anosov
autoequivalences, which turns out to be more general than the one
proposed by Dimitrov-Haiden-Katzarkov-Kontsevich. We construct new
examples of pseudo-Anosov autoequivalences on quintic Calabi-Yau
threefolds and quiver Calabi-Yau categories. We prove that they act
hyperbolically on the space of Bridgeland stability conditions for the
quiver examples. This is a joint work in progress with Fan, Filip, and
Katzarkov.
