Processing and handling of powders and other bulk solid materials is widespread, but proper operation and system design are a challenge. Learning is difficult partly because there are so many variations and partly because no one teaches it in college. Accordingly, this course is intended to provide a basic understanding about the various bulk solid processes and handling methods. This is an in-person course with two full days at the K-State Olathe campus.
