The History Department's Institute for Military History will host the second event of its new "Meet the Author" series. Beth Bailey, a Foundation Distinguished Professor at the University of Kansas, will be discussing her award-winning book An Army Afire: How the US Army Confronted Its Racial Crisis in the Vietnam Era.
