About this Event
The Johnson Cancer Research Center is hosting the 2022 K-State Cancer Research Week on September 12th-17th. The Research Week is a week full of cancer research-related events to inform the public about the basic cancer research performed on K-State and fundraising events. The events will be held in the Manhattan area on campus and at local businesses around the campus.
On Wednesday, September 14th, 2022. The K-State Cancer Research Week will be having an event off campus at Manhattan Brewing Company from 7 pm- 9 pm. Guests will be able to meet some of the researchers from the Johnson Cancer Research Center and learn about the research at is being conducted at K-State. Guests will learn how this research is playing a major role in conquering cancers in our lifetime.
Manhattan Brewing Company is owned by beer experts Jake Voegeli, Garrett Paulman, and Adam Krebsbach. Jake Voegeli a former Wildcat football player is a huge supporter of K-State and has been known to brew special beers where the proceeds go to local charities. Garrett Paulman and Adam Krebsbach are Wildcat fans in training but have become local fixtures in the Manhattan Community.
