Mixed Models Workshop Series - Kansas State University Events

Capacity has been reached for these workshops, but we hope to offer this series again in the future. Please keep an eye on our Events page for future offerings.

The Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics (ID3A), in partnership with K-State's department of statistics, will co-host a workshop series on the fundamentals of linear mixed models for designed experiments. This two-day free workshop series, taking place Sept. 13 through Sept. 14, is available for free to all K-State faculty, staff and students. Non-K-State participants are also encouraged to register for a nominal fee.

  • Fundamentals of linear mixed models: Sept. 13, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Generalized linear mixed models: Sept. 14, 9 a.m. - Noon

All workshops will take place in 164 Justin Hall.

Since model applications will be demonstrated using R software, prior experience using R software will be convenient but not required. Likewise, attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops but will be able to follow the content regardless.
