The K-State Gardens would like to invite you to an evening of education on Native Plant Foraging, here in the KSU Gardens Visitors Center (1500 Denison Ave, MHK 66506) on September 10th, at 7pm. The class will be taught by Manhattan resident, Terry Olson, retired owner of Eastside and Westside Markets, who is a dedicated volunteer to the KSU Gardens, a Konza Prairie Docent, and a Master Naturalist. She has taught this class at UFM for the past 5 years, and is excited to bring it to the KSU Gardens! Enjoy an evening of learning about native Kansas edible plants, sampling foraged teas and jellies, then ending with a stroll in the KSU Gardens at sunset. There are only 25 spots available for this class! Admission is $10 and will need to be paid in cash at the door on the night of the event.
