On Saturday, February 17, the K-State Student Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society will host Drum Days, a statewide P.A.S. event. Featured guest artists include Matthew Coley and Heartland Marimba, Jonathan Milke, and percussion ensembles from Blue Valley West High School, Junction City High School, and Fort Hays State University. K-State Percussion Ensembles will also perform at the event. Matthew Coley is an award-winning marimba soloist and leads Heartland Marimba, a chamber ensemble with artistry, outreach, and education at its core. Jonathan Milke is Timpanist with the United States Army's D.C.-based band, "Pershing's Own." On-site registration will be available for PAS members and non-members.
