About this Event
According to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, “American Indian and Alaska Native people are at a disproportionate risk of experiencing violence, murder, or going missing,” and homicide is the third leading cause of death among women and girls. Join this facilitated discussion, led by Drs. Brandon Haddock and Melissa Poll, to learn more about why this is happening and why more people are not aware of the problem.
The Perspectives series sponsored by the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies offers K-Staters an opportunity to share information and engage in civil discourse.
