President's Distinguished Lecture Series: Dr. Marcia McNutt - Kansas State University Events

Marcia McNutt, president of the National Academy of Sciences, will speak at Kansas State University on Tuesday, Oct. 21, as part of the President’s Distinguished Lecture Series.

  • Technical Seminar: “AI’s Impacts on Trust in Science” — 10:30 a.m., 1014 Throckmorton Hall.
  • Public Lecture: “State of Science in America and the Future of Innovation” — 4 p.m., K-State Alumni Center. McNutt will examine U.S. scientific leadership, national investment in research, and the future of innovation.

Both events are free and open to the public. The public lecture will also be livestreamed on the series website.
