Kansas State alumnus and Kansas Reflector Senior Reporter Tim Carpenter reflects on Kansas politics and policymaking. With a combined 35 years of reporting experience in Kansas, Carpenter will take questions on the election season, prospects for the next Kansas legislature, and the role of news media in state governance. Co-sponsored by the Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy, the Huck Boyd National Center for Community Media, and the Department of Political Science, Carpenter's talk is the second in a public lecture series giving the K-State community a seat on "Democracy's Front Row."
