Ride for a Cure Tailgate Party
From August 1st to September 17th, motorcycle riders will be riding over 500 miles. The purpose of this motorcycle riding event is to raise funds for K-State student and faculty researchers to cure cancer in our lifetime. Riders will recruit sponsors that will support them by the mile or with a flat donation. Sponsor forms and donations must be received either by mail before September 16th or in-person at the Celebration Event on September 17th.
On Saturday, September 17th the Johnson Cancer Research Center will conclude the ride with a tailgate party at the Midwest Dream Car Collection. The event will run from 11 am- 1 pm and will include music, food, and drink vendors. T-Shirts and patches will be distributed, and a drawing will be held for two K-State vs. Tulane football game tickets. Individuals and teams will be recognized for pledges collected and miles ridden.
